Environmental objectives of FREJA Group
At FREJA we want to focus on - and in cooperation with our partners actively work towards - a reduction of our influence on the environment. This is done by including the respect for the environment in our line of transport- and logistic solutions.
- During the years 2008-2010 FREJA want to reduce our total relative emission discharges from traffics (measured by tonnage) by 1 % p.a.
- During the years 2008-2010 FREJA want to reduce our total energy consumption (total electricity, heating, as well as fuel converted into kwh) on permanent installations related to tonnage and number of employees by 2 % measured by number of shipments and 3 % measured per employee
- During the years 2008-2010 FREJA want to reduce our yearly consumption of paper related to number of shipments by 2 %
- During the years 2008-2010 FREJA want to improve our payload percentage by 1,5 % p.a.
- During the years 2008-2010 FREJA want to reduce our dead freight by 1,5 % p.a.
- During the years 2008-2010 FREJA want to increase the amount of goods transported on rail and on combined truck/ship by 10 % p.a.
